The Goal
The goal of Paint the Town Pink is to raise money and awareness in regards to breast cancer patients and what they require post treatment.
Unfortunately, many health insurance carriers do not cover after care products, such as wigs, because they are not considered medically necessary. Furthermore, these products are often costly. For example, a wig can vary from $65.00 to $300.00.
The First Annual Paint the Town Pink was a community-wide effort to dress and decorate Meadville in pink between October 22nd and 24th, 2014 in support of breast cancer awareness.
“Pink” merchandise was sold at participating locations which you can find on the support page.
